From its beginning, The
Faculty has been making efforts to become a part of integral
european system and space of higher education in all possible
aspects. The Faculty has matured and its study programmes are
completely synchronized with the principles of the Bologna
declaration.
According to the mentioned principles, the studies of civil
engineering are, since the 2005/2006 academic year, organized in
two cycles: undergraduate studies lasting three years (180 ECTS
credits) and graduate studies lasting two years (120 ECTS
credits). |
The Faculty had been working in the
rented premises of the municipality building (ex. dormitory) in Kralja Zvonimira
Street #14 (once Ante Zuanića street) until 2008. Together with
the establisment of the Faculty in 1978, plans for the
construction of a new building of the Faculty within the campus
of the University of Mostar were made but due to the lack of
financial means that plans were not realized until 2008.
The construction of the new building of the
Faculty started on 2nd February 2007.
The Government of the
Republic of Croatia had completely provided funds for the new
building within
1st phase of the investment in the Campus of the University of
Mostar. The inauguration of the new Faculty building was held on
13th November 2008 within the 30th anniversary of the Faculty
celebration. On same day, within this celebration, International
Scientific Symposium Modelling of Structures was opened and

University of Mostar was promoted.

civil engineering which was done by international team of

accreditation of study programmes on BiH universities) in year
2012.
