Faculty of Civil Engineering in Mostar is high educational facility in the area of civil engineering. Faculty started to work on 1^st September 1978, and on 11^th May 1979 is officially registred by Solution of Economy court in Mostar number U-1248/79.

Openning of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Mostar came from grown needs of region for education of hgih school cadre in building walk and development of scientific-research and expert work in area of civil engineering as basic presumptions and carriers of further economical and social development of region.

On the first meeting of the Council of Faculty of Civil Engineering on 27^th April 1979 Mr. Hrvoje Soče, Ph. D.  was elected for the dean.
